Business journalism, SMM & PR

In this direction, you will learn how to use the Internet space as a business environment, where, based on the knowledge of media specialist technologies, you can create your own or company brand, and improve your reputation.


Digital journalism

This course offers unique opportunities for students who want to combine the two exciting worlds of journalism and digital technology. The program was developed taking into account modern requirements for the media industry, where digital platforms are becoming an integral part of the professional activities of journalists.


International Journalism and Internet Security

This is a unique area of training for modern journalists, which is only available at IITU. Graduates of this direction have knowledge of international relations, sources of terrorism and understand the issues of creating security.


TV and radio journalism

Training combines such positions as working with various information resources, including video, audio, photos, and working with online editors, software and content management systems.

Achievements
IITU took an honorable 2nd place in the XIV Republican Subject Olympiad in the section «Journalism and Information Preparation».
Journalism students won prizes at the “IT FEST 2022” festival in the “Film and Video” section.
At IITU was held master class on data journalism by Zulfiya Raisova, a FORSET Data Communication Fellow.
Journalism at IITU №1 among the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the «Atameken» rating!
We signed a double degree agreement with the Faculty of Political Studies and Journalism of A. Mickiewicz University, Poland.
The top best young journalists of the CIS included 2nd year students of the specialty “Business Journalism” Bolatova D. and Narbekova Z.
